THE ROLE - QUALITY ASSURANCE EXPERT IT (M/F/D)Strong and modern IT is one of the strategic success factors for the future competitiveness of Hapag-Lloyd AG. For this reason, we will grow in many areas and, in particular, successively expand the development teams around our internal system.We are expanding the Quality Assurance Team at Chennai, which advises and supports our product development teams on issues relating to "quality", "testing" and "compliance". Our small team accompanies the development processes of our internal and external product development teams, prepares audits and conducts training courses on the topic of "Software Test".As reinforcement for our team, we are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Expert IT (m/f/d) to join our team.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supporting product development teams on issues related to "Quality", "Test" and "Compliance".
  • Enabling product development teams to take responsibility for the quality of their products.
  • Develop, implement, and report on metrics related to quality.
  • Preparation and execution of trainings.
  • Coaching and consulting.
  • Develop new overarching quality assurance measures.
  • Review development artifacts from internal and external development teams.
  • Monitoring of the release process.
  • Preparation and monitoring of audits.
  • Building a community of practice.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORESSENTIAL
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position with a degree in computer science.
  • Knowledge of test methodology (Agile Testing Quadrants, Testing Pyramid, Functional-/Non-Functional Testing, Test Strategy, Test Plan, BDD, ATDD, TDD, Exploratory Testing, ...).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Gitlab, Jenkins and SonarQube.
  • Experience with agile software development.
  • Ability to work independently and in a solution-oriented manner.
  • High level of empathy and positive basic attitude.
  • As an internationally active company, we require a good command of written and spoken English.
PREFERRED
  • Knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Domain Driven Design.
  • Basic programming skills (Java, JavaScript, SQL).
  • Experience in the use of MS Office, Jira and Confluence.
  • ISTQB certification is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally from time to time.
