- Responsible for sales of Engineering Plastics Compounds with techno-commercial experience in Marketing / Business Development.
- Plan marketing strategies, coordinate, follow up, and review the implementation of the sales and marketing plan for North India.
- Contact existing customers and new prospects to keep the market updated on the company's product portfolio.
- Expand the company customer base in North India to contribute to revenue targets.
- Identify and actively search for new prospects, analyze sales potential, and develop sales activities.
- Identify marketing opportunities, gather customer requirements, define market, competitor's share, strengths, and weaknesses; forecast projected business, and establish target market share.
- Maximize sales opportunities, proactively create new opportunities, and develop & manage relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
- Improve product marketability & profitability and product packaging; coordinate with teams for new product development.
- Manage Key Accounts for new projects & pricing for executing business in North India.
- Manage various projects for developing North India-specific grades for application and market development.
- Identify & establish a dealer network in North India for deeper market penetration and profitability.
- Develop new applications in automotive, E & E, Toys & Industrial applications.
- Develop short-term & long-term plans in coordination with stakeholders to expand business.
- Drive business growth in terms of value, volume, and market share by introducing new ideas & concepts.
- Conduct extensive business research & analysis to understand competitor activities, business expansion opportunities, customers, gaps, market trends, and industry developments & standards.
- Provide technical support to customers (e.g., data sheet submission, grade comparison, advising suitable grades).
- Responsible for developing an in-depth knowledge of the customer's application/requirement.
- Attend external and internal processing trials and business meetings.
- Coordinate new application development, including collecting technical requirements, discussing with R&D, assisting in material evaluation and testing, conducting customer trials, providing feedback, and formalizing approved grades.
- Polymer Science degree required.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of related experience in sales & marketing of Engineering Plastics (e.g., Nylon Compound, PBT Compound, PP Compound, ABS Compound, PC Compound and alloys).
- Candidate should have catered to E & E, Automotive, and ancillary industries.
- Must be hands-on with a strong technical base in Thermoplastic Injection Molding processes.
- Good understanding of process controls and technical tools for troubleshooting and problem-solving independently.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify technical opportunities with customers to grow business profitably.
- Capable of championing projects internally, including identifying customer performance requirements and product/process recommendations.
