📌 Job Title: Sales Training Manager
🔹 Role OverviewThe Sales Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and driving impactful training programs that enhance the capability, productivity, and performance of the sales force. This role plays a critical part in aligning sales skills with business goals and building a high-performance sales culture.🔹 Key Responsibilities
🎯 Training Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales training strategy aligned with business objectives
Design onboarding programs for new sales hires to ensure faster ramp-up
Identify skill gaps through performance data and training needs analysis
📚 Content Development
Create engaging training modules (classroom, digital, on-the-job learning)
Develop sales playbooks, pitch frameworks, and product training materials
Ensure continuous update of content based on market trends and product changes
📊 Performance & Impact Measurement
Track effectiveness of training programs using KPIs (conversion rate, revenue impact, productivity)
Evaluate training ROI and continuously improve programs
Partner with Sales Leaders to link training outcomes with business performance
🤝 Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and HR teams
Work closely with regional sales heads to customize training interventions
Act as a strategic partner to business leaders for capability building
🚀 Coaching & Field Support
Conduct regular field visits and on-ground coaching sessions
Mentor sales managers to become effective coaches
Drive behavioral and skill-based transformation
🔹 Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of sales processes, funnels, and customer journey
Expertise in adult learning principles & instructional design
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Analytical mindset with ability to measure training effectiveness
Stakeholder management and influencing skills
High energy, result-oriented, and adaptable
🔹 Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
5–10+ years of experience in Sales Training / Sales Enablement / L&D
Prior experience in sales role is highly preferred
Experience in managing large sales teams or multi-location training programs

Sales productivity improvement
