This role involves developing frameworks for assessing performance, collecting, and analyzing data, and deriving actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with stakeholders, the Performance and Metrics Lead establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and obtains industry benchmarks for the function, aligned with Aramex's organizational goals, monitors performance against these metrics, and communicates findings to drive data-driven decision-making. Additionally, they identify opportunities for process improvement, implement optimization strategies, and ensure the accuracy of performance data. Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to facilitate organizational success by providing the tools and insights necessary to drive continuous improvement, enhance productivity, and achieve strategic objectives. The overall purpose of this role is to: • Provide a strategic framework for performance evaluation and improvement - including the definition and cadence of metric reporting. • Ensure organizational objectives are met by aligning KPIs with company goals. • Facilitate informed decision-making through insights from analysis and reporting. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes. • Maintain accuracy and reliability of performance data.Job DescriptionMetrics and Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.
- Define and track KPIs to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze performance data and derive actionable insights to optimize processes and drive decision-making.
- Collate industry benchmarks for target setting and continuous improvement.
- Ensure a cadence is set for all metrics and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture performance metrics and understand business needs.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into performance measurement strategies.
- Communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and discussions
- Create and maintain a comprehensive view of ongoing and planned Technology projects, including resources, costs, timelines, and benefits to facilitate prioritization and budget discussions.
- Facilitate prioritization discussions and budget planning based on project portfolio view.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
- Report regularly on performance metrics related to budget, including variance analysis and cost effectiveness.
- Manage relationship with relevant outsourcing suppliers in coordination with procurement team to ensure cost effectiveness and benefit from acquired services
