As we expand our retail footprint, we seek a seasoned Store Manager who can embody our
brand values, drive business performance, and deliver a world-class experience to every
customer who walks through our doors.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Store Manager will have full ownership of the store's performance, operations, and
profitability. This is a senior leadership role that demands a powerful blend of retail sales acumen,
high-value customer relationship management, meticulous inventory control, and the ability to
build and inspire a high-performing team — specifically within the jewellery or luxury retail
segment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales & Revenue Management
– Drive store sales and consistently achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
– Ensure high conversion rates, maximize average ticket size, and cultivate repeat customer
business
– Personally handle high-value client interactions and assist in closing premium jewellery
sales
– Plan and execute in-store promotions, festive campaigns, and exclusive launch events in
collaborationCustomer Experience
– Deliver a world-class, personalized buying journey to every customer, from first enquiry to
after-sales service
– Build and nurture long-term relationships with repeat clients and referral networks
– Handle customer queries, escalations, and post-sale service issues with professionalism
and empathy
– Uphold brand standards in service, presentation, grooming, and all customer-facing
communication
Store Operations
– Oversee all daily operations: store opening/closing, cash handling, billing, security, and
housekeeping
– Ensure full compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal/external audit
requirements
– Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand guidelines
– Coordinate with Head Office for stock movements, replenishments, and new collection
launches
Inventory & Stock Management
– Manage diamond and jewellery inventory with strict accuracy, controls, and zero tolerance
for discrepancies
– Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory against system records
– Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all inward/outward stock movements and
certificationsTeam Management
– Lead, train, and continuously motivate the store sales team to exceed performance
benchmarks
– Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming standards, and individual productivity
– Conduct regular product knowledge and sales skills training sessions for all team members
– Support recruitment, onboarding, and periodic performance reviews of store staff
Reporting & MIS
– Prepare and submit timely daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports to
management
– Track and analyze key KPIs: footfall, conversion ratio, average bill value, and inventory
turnover
– Proactively share market intelligence, evolving customer trends, and competitor insights with
leadershipELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS
– Graduate in any discipline; MBA or Retail Management preferred
– 5–8 years of experience in jewellery retail or luxury retail, with a minimum of 2 years in a
Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager capacity
– Strong, working knowledge of diamonds, gold jewellery, certifications (GIA, IGI, etc.), and
retail compliance norms
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills – confident with high-value
clientele
– Proficient in POS systems, billing software, and basic MIS/Excel reportingKEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
