Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - SouthLocation: BangaloreFunction: Sales (General Trade)Reports to: Director - Channel SalesRole Objective:To drive profitable sales growth across all channels in South India by leading a team of ASMs, Sales Officers, ensuring deep distribution, freshness discipline, and channel-specific execution excellence for Superplum's branded fruit business.Key Responsibilities:- Lead sales for South region (currently Bangalore) across GT Channel.- Manage a team of ASMs, SOs, with structured review and capability building- Drive region's primary and secondary targets, returns control, and fill rate benchmarks- Build and expand retail network with ROI-led partner selection- Manage financial disciplines - Ensure execution of trade schemes, promotions, and GTM strategies at ground level- Develop regional sales forecasts and align with SCM for freshness optimization- Collaborate with marketing for regional activations, seasonal pushes, and visibility drives- Anchor monthly reviews and reporting for the zone across business and people metricsEducation & Experience:- Graduate + MBA (Sales/Marketing/Agri preferred)- 10-14 years of sales experience in FMCG, Foodservice, Agri-tech, or Fresh category- Proven track record in GT/MT regional leadership, team management, and execution- Knowledge of perishables, cold chain, or health foods is an added advantageKey Skills:- Strategic thinking + Execution discipline- Team leadership & coaching- Channel P&L understanding (GT/MT/Institutional)- Regional partner & distributor management- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, CRM, dashboards)Other Requirements :- Willing to work in start-up environment - Requirements to work 6 days a week - Ownership driven individual - lead start to finish - Willing to work on field all days and travel as per business need (ref:updazz.com)
