- Assist in the preparation of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately following recipes and instructions
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times
- Support senior bakers in daily operations and special projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of bakery orders
- Learn and apply new baking techniques and recipes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and bakery equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good math skills for measuring and scaling ingredients
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Food handler's certification preferred
- Previous kitchen or bakery experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
