Job Category: Applied R&DDegree Level: Bachelor's degreeJob Description:As a Principal Technical Specialist in Nokia's Network Automation team, you will leverage your expertise in IP network management and protocols like SNMP, NetConf, and gNMI to develop and test carrier-grade automation solutions, collaborate with passionate professionals on high-impact projects, and contribute to shaping the future of network management in a flexible, innovative environment.Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional agile teams in designing and developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to refine technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain solid automation pipelines for cross functional use cases
  • Work on developing simulations at network scale.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new ideas, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
  • Contribute to challenging projects that push the boundaries of technology, working alongside some of the industry's brightest engineers.
Qualifications:You have:
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8-10 years of work experience.
  • Experience in testing design, writing test cases, raising defects, verifying fixes, patches & enhancements.
  • Strong in test automation; including GUI automation (Selenium, JavaScript, html5, Mocha) and script development (shell/PERL/python)
  • Experience in technologies like K8S, ELK, Prometheus, Kafka, Docker and databases like Postgres DB
  • Knowledge of network management (EMS/NMS) concepts and basic protocols like SNMP, Netconf/Restconf, GNMI etc.
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth Understanding of IP Networking (Routing & Switching) is must.
