As a Dispatch Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the timely and efficient dispatch of goods and materials. This is a full-time position with a junior level of experience required (1 to 3 years). The job location is Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. Qualifications And Skills 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Dispatch Officer. Excellent knowledge of dispatching and rout planning. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Proficient in using dispatch management software and tools. Good physical stamina and ability to handle the physical demands of the role. Valid driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent. Roles And Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the dispatch of goods and materials. Ensure that all dispatch activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Plan and schedule delivery routes for drivers. Monitor and track the progress of dispatched goods, ensuring they reach their destination on time. Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods, including invoices, delivery notes, and receipts. Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve any issues or delays. Respond to customer inquiries and provide status updates on dispatched goods. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize dispatch operations. Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
