- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Billing, AR, AP, and Payroll shared services teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, vendor payments, employee payroll, and related financial transactions.
- Monitor workflow, adjust staffing needs, and maintain appropriate workload distribution.
- Establish, track, and report on KPIs across all functions.
- Develop and maintain standardized processes, policies, and documentation across Billing, AR, AP, and Payroll.
- Identify and lead improvement shared services initiatives, including automation opportunities (ERP enhancements).
- Implement best practices to improve accuracy, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Partner with IT and other departments on system upgrades and process integrations.
- Ensure all transactions are processed in alignment with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
- Develop Rate Schedules for company and specific clients to optimize return.
- Monitor and develop tools for proper cash control and forecasting.
- Reviews General Ledger for balances and appropriateness.
- Maintain robust controls related to billing accuracy, cash application, vendor setup, payroll processing, and approval workflows.
- Support internal and external audits, including documentation, reconciliations, and remediation plans.
- Oversee tax compliance related to payroll and vendor payments (e.g., W‑9/1099, garnishments, payroll tax filings).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to billing issues, payment inquiries, payroll discrepancies, and process concerns.
- Collaborate with finance, HR, operations, and other business units to ensure alignment and service excellence.
- Communicate performance, improvement plans, and service delivery updates to leadership.
- Manage and develop a multi‑disciplinary shared services team across Billing, AR, AP, and Payroll.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, oversee training, and support career development.
- Ensure work teams are utilizing AI to enhance productivity.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
- Salary Range: 15 to 25 Lacs/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications directly related to the position. [This role is eligible for overtime or premium pay, employee-recognition programs, and additional annual incentive / discretionary bonuses, of which are based on company and individual performance and goals.]

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in financial operations, shared services, or transactional finance (Billing, AR, AP, Payroll).
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high‑volume, deadline‑driven transactional environments.
- Solid understanding of internal controls, financial compliance, and payroll regulations.
- Certifications: CPP (Payroll), CMA, CPA, or similar credentials.
- Experience implementing or scaling a shared services model.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with automation technologies.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability.
- High attention to accuracy and detail.
- Strong communication and customer service mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Comfort working with data, metrics, and process dashboards.
