We continuously grow by adding and implementing the most cutting-edge technologies, conducting innovative Just Do It marathons, thinking about new features to add and investing in our employee training programs!The BMC Control-M Server team is looking for a passionate Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team of highly skilled developers building a high-performing scalable SaaS server.Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Develop a backend server and participate in the move to a sophisticated SaaS solution which is far from trivial.

Design and develop features for an industry leading product

Work in agile within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and produce high quality features.

Collaborate with other teams to develop joint features.

Participate in investigating and implementing various technologies/tools

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

You have at least 5 years of Java development experience

You worked in a multi-threaded server-side environment

You have experience with Backend Server development on Windows & UNIX platforms

You have experience with relational database (Oracle, PGSQL, MSSQL)

You have good technical and analytical skills

You are a team player with effective communication skills

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills

Microservice architecture

AWS (Kafka, SQS, STS)

C/C++ and Python

Spring, Sprint boot

Docker and Kubernetes

Maven/Git/Continuous integration
