Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of logistics teams across South Asia regionOversee transportation, warehousing for consolidation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and import/export complianceDevelop strategies to streamline logistics processes and reduce costsEnsure timely delivery of goods and materials within budgeted targetsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to meet customer expectationsMonitor performance metrics related to logistics operationsConduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulationsProvide guidance and support to team members as neededCollaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues related to logisticsHandle emergency situations effectively and efficientlyBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience requiredMinimum 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding and courier logistics operationsProven experience collaborating with customs authorities, regulatory bodies including MoEF (Ministry of Environment and Forests), DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade), and working with Customs House Agents (CHA)Experience in monitoring and evaluating freight forwarder performance against service level agreements (SLAs)Strong knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain management principlesExperience working in international markets with complex regulatory environmentsDesired QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for managing diverse teamsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordinglyProven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and cost savings initiativesFamiliarity with relevant technology platforms such as ERP systems, CRM software, etc.Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisionsAdaptable attitude towards changing business needs and market trendsInclusion and DiversityGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
