Position: HSSE Manager Location: Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560300 About The Role We are looking for an experienced HSSE Manager responsible for developing and maintaining HSSE systems, policies, and procedures, which facilitate the food manufacturing unit compliance with Governmental laws, regulations, industry standards and SATS Global and Regional requirements. The role has the responsibility to advise and assist line management to ensure compliance with these requirements. Key Responsibilities Sets the overall HSSE vision of the food factory; executes the proper motivational techniques required to enliven this vision. Provides influence to factory management and supervision on HSSE matters. Establishes, communicates and monitors the factory specific strategy and annual HSSE plans in line with SATS Global and Regional strategy inputs and drives continuous improvement. Ensures HSSE related incidents are notified, reported and investigated in accordance to SATS Global and Regional standards utilizing specific tools to drive to root cause and identify actions to prevent recurrence. Drives completion of recognized corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence are effectively implemented, this includes execution of corrective actions developed from other site incidents. Manages and uses a data-driven approach to manage, modify, and prioritize factory HSSE direction. Shares and uses data to influence, motivate, measure, and drive continuous improvement. Upwardly communicate performance toward company goals for HSSE. Owns and executes site security requirements to meet SATS Global and Regional requirements. Manage Risk Management activities associated with HSSE related consequences, including asset conservation and property loss control. Implement & maintain HSSE standards as per company policy. Develop and drive HSSE training module for site to educate employees about safe work practices & conduct mock drills at regular interval. Ensure adequate availability of fire-fighting equipment & first-aid boxes at the factory. Ensuring availability & correct use of all PPEs by all individuals on site. Key Requirements Industrial safety diploma and certification. 10+ years of experience in HSSE for manufacturing facilities involving industrial automation and machineries. Food manufacturing business experience an advantage Demonstrate competency and well-versed in risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies. Good knowledge of local and international regulations relating to safety and security Familiar with Internal Audits and experience as Internal auditor
