Experience : 4 to 6 yearsDay-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Automation Test Lead to develop and implement a new test automation tech stack and strategy for our financial systems.
- Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts for web, SQL, REST Assured, and SOAP-based applications.
- Integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle and continuous integration processes.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage and high-quality software solutions.
- Identify, analyse, and report on test results, defects, and trends to drive improvements in the software development process.
- Continuously research and stay current on the latest trends and advancements in test automation technology and best practices.
- Train and mentor team members in test automation techniques and tools.
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux or Unix scripting
- Hands-on knowledge of BDD Cucumber Framework/Python OR JAVA
- Hands-on knowledge Jenkins
- Hands-on knowledge Selenium WebDriver Automation
- Hands-on of API testing techniques Rest Api automation using Rest Assured SonarQube experience desirable
- Git (Version Control) Analyse results of tests and to be able to update existing test suits after API changes
- Basic Knowledge about CI/CD Concepts
- Usage of Postman or JMeter tool to modify requests to validate multiple outputs on scenarios.
- Exposure to UI Automation, Selenium, JAVA Rest Assured, TestNG
- Experience using at least one defect management tool - JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc
- Experience with Payments domain (good to have)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test automation with a focus on web, SQL, REST, and SOAP-based systems.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
