The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Selenium/Playwright, experienced with Postman or REST Assured, and driven to contribute to framework enhancements, suggest improvements, and champion quality within an Agile setup.Responsibilities:Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Selenium/Playwright.Ability to develop and maintain automation test scripts for Selenium/Playwright in Java programming language.Develop and execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.Proactively identify gaps, suggest process and framework improvements, and drive adoption of best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, improve coverage, and ensure high-quality releases.Manage test cases, execution results, and reporting in TestRail.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.Mentor junior QA engineers and help evolve automation standards across teams.Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning within the QA organization.Skills & Qualifications:3–5 years of experience in QA automation and Java ProgrammingProven hands-on experience with Selenium/Playwright for UI automation.Solid experience in API testing using Postman or REST AssuredExperience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and TestRail (or similar test management tools).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proactive and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent requiredQualifications
