- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the O2R (Order-to-Receipt) process to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cycle time.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (requisitioners, project managers, finance teams) and external suppliers to ensure seamless procurement execution.
- Ensure strict adherence to global procurement policies, SOX compliance, and audit readiness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement operations team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
- Partner with digital and systems teams to identify automation opportunities and support the implementation of procurement tools and system enhancements (e.g., SAP SRM, S/4HANA, Ariba).
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, leveraging data insights to identify trends, assess risks, and implement corrective measures.
- Foster stakeholder engagement and enhance customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance in procurement master data, including supplier records and catalogue management.
- Proactively manage and monitor the transactional pipeline to optimize workload prioritization, ensuring timely purchase orders and an improved user experience.
- Collaborate with Squad and GPO teams to implement timely, innovative process improvements that deliver greater value and better user experience.
- Strong understanding of supply chain procurement practices with working knowledge of sourcing and general accounting (payments and invoice processing).
- Hands-on expertise in core sourcing and procurement, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Experience, including managing client-service functions, large corporate initiatives, critical thinking, relationship management, and supply chain processes.
- Proven experience in redefining SCM processes through system and process enhancements.
- Direct experience in process management, applying best practices, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging advanced technologies and tools.
