This is a remote position.Job Description: Senior Microsoft Power BI Developer Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer with strong data engineering experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric, a solid understanding of data architecture, and a passion for creating insightful, intuitive dashboards and data solutions. Experience in AI/ML-driven analytics projects is a strong plus.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.- Build robust data pipelines and perform data transformations using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.- Work with large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring efficient data ingestion, modeling, and visualization.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.- Implement and optimize data architecture to support real-time and historical analytics.- Apply UI/UX best practices to deliver clean, user-friendly dashboards and interfaces.- Contribute to AI/ML-based analytics and predictive modeling projects (preferred).- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide support and guidance to business users.- Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, agile environment.Required Qualifications- 4-5 years of experience in Power BI development and data engineering roles.- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Purview or other Microsoft data platforms.- Strong experience with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL pipelines.- Hands-on experience in data pipelines, queries and dashboard optimisation techniques.- Sound understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.- Excellent sense of UI/UX for dashboard design and visualization storytelling.- Exposure to AI or Machine Learning solutions is a strong advantage.- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Proven track record of working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects from concept to completion.Preferred Skills- Experience with tools such as Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar platforms.- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, DAX, Power BI, and data pipeline tools.- Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD for BI deployments.- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
