Senior Director Engineering

• Strategic Leadership Develop and maintain a long-term vision and technology roadmap and align engineering goals with business objectives.
• Technical Expertise Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring high standards of quality and performance. In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, best practices, and emerging technologies. Experience with Cloud Computing, Big Data, AI / ML is highly desirable. Very good understanding of software architecture & patterns is desirable.
• Retail savvy you are passionate about using technology to build solutions, as well as are well versed in retail supply chain demand planning & forecasting systems. Familiarity with data integrations is essential, know-how of inner workings of forecasting models is nice to have.

• Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably within Grocery or Retail Demand Planning.
• Previous experience building & implementing demand forecasting systems is preferred.
• A minimum of 15+ years of experience in software engineering with at-least 7 years in leadership positions.
• An ability to move quickly and effectively, and is an effective communicator who uses excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
• The capability to think strategically while also rolling up your sleeves to do the work and execute.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
• Ability to work up and down the leadership range, with good flexibility to shift quickly between strategy and tactics.
• Sound quantitative and analytical skills and abilities.
