Position Name: Verification & Onboarding AssociateLocation: Mumbai, IndiaExperience Range: 2–4 yearsMandatory Requirement:Experience in onboarding, KYC, or compliance (preferably in VC, NBFC, Fintech, or BFSI).Strong understanding of startup legal documents and financial structures.Familiarity with SEBI and AIF regulations (preferred).Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and basic CRM systems.Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data.Job Roles and Responsibilities:Review and verify KYC documents for startups, founders, and investors (PAN, Aadhaar, incorporation docs, etc.).Validate legal and financial documents such as shareholder agreements, MoUs, and term sheets.Manage end-to-end onboarding of startups and investors, ensuring all documentation and disclosures are complete.Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, and AIF guidelines; escalate discrepancies to compliance/legal teams.Act as point of contact for founders/investors during onboarding, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors.Maintain proper recordkeeping as per regulatory and internal audit norms.Prepare and update MIS reports, CRM records, and support audit requirements.Qualification and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, Finance, or related field.2–4 years of relevant experience in onboarding, KYC, or compliance within VC, NBFC, Fintech, or BFSI.Prior experience in VC, PE, or startup ecosystem preferred.Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance tools or platforms is an advantage.
