Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer : (CloudOps). You will be managing the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within an organization, including the servers and storage, terminals as well as server applications and software (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle). Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades server operating systems. Manage capacity planning.With this position we offer:Join the NASDAQ Cloud Operations team as a DevOps Engineer. Your primary objective will be architecting, designing and supporting various cloud and automation projects. The work environment is fast paced and project based. It is critical that you have potential and drive to grow your craft. You'll help architect and build designs to deploy applications in the cloud.You'll work on developing automation for various mission critical projects. You'll help maintain existing automation as well as provide guidance to help improve existing buildouts and architectures. In addition, a key component to your role will be to identify issues or enhancement opportunities.Your role and responsibilities:

Troubleshooting potential issues that may exist in any of our pipelines or applications.
Get along with internal users through ITSM and Jira ticketing system.
Being the point of escalation for junior cloud operations team members.
Programming automation including working with serverless code deployments.
Designing, architecting, and improving our CI/CD pipelines.
Involved in providing guidance and expertise to cloud and automation projects.
Operational management of over a thousand cloud accounts.
Documentation of processes, architecture and tools on our team Confluence page.
Fully utilize cloud technologies when deploying applications in the cloud.
Deploying infrastructure-as-code.
Proactively research new technologies and perform proof of concept.

We expect you to have :

Minimum 9+ years of hands-on experience in CloudOps and must have worked on Automation skills.
Must have experience working in Ansible, REST APIs.
Should have worked on backend programming, Python, CI/CD pipelines and GIT.
Expertise on AWS and YAML and JSON.
Good to have experience with Javascript, databases and building web applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels using metrics and data.
Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information systems or IT related background.

It would be great if you :

Domain knowledge in Finance.
Experience with mysql, postgres (create databases, tables and loading data).
Container experience (docker, podman, Kubernetes).
