Head FacilitiesResponsibilities
  • Develops and administers annual department work plan and budget.
  • Actively participates as a member of the management team; collaborates with other senior members to develop and implement initiatives that advance the Conservatory’s mission and enhance its leadership role .
  • Identifies process improvements within areas of responsibility and develops new procedures and/or programs that result in more efficient operations.
  • Develops and implements operational policies and procedures, including updating the Conservatory’s Operational Policies Handbook as necessary.
  • Supervises, develops, and provides guidance to the each Estate Manager and Security Supervisor, including overseeing performance management .
  • Ensures execution of all daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance programs that fall within areas of responsibility.
  • Ensures execution of environmental programs such as recycling and trash disposal.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of equipments of Civil work, Fire Fighting,Electrical,Plumbing & preventative maintenance of the same.
  • Oversees outside contractor work.
  • Leads and/or collaborates and supports others for capital project planning and completion.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations that address building operations, the safe use of equipment’s, and storage of goods.
  • Oversees an organization-wide safety program and regular building inspections and programs, ensuring a clean, safe environment for staff, patrons and guests of the Logistic Park.
  • Serves as an active participant in relevant committees.
  • Responsible to take update from each Estate Manager on following pointers:-
  • Infrastructure maintenance including internal of the warehouse and external infrastructure of the parks at any given time.
  • Security of the entire park including physical security, CCTVs camera, pilferages, trespassing, etc.
  • Housekeeping of the entire park including external and internal of the warehouse.
  • Maintenance of the Landscape area.
  • Maintenance of the Electrical works including external, internal, panels, transformers, DG, etc.
  • Maintenance of the Firefighting pumps, yard hydrants, sprinklers system, emergency alarm system, etc.
  • Maintenance of Plumbing system including internal and external washrooms, storm water drainage, Rainwater harvesting pits, Septic Tanks, Sewage treatment plant (STP), etc.
  • Internal of warehouse includes floor, roof, Firefighting doors, shutters, dock levelers, washrooms, louvers, insulation, Polycarbonate skylights, turbo ventilators, Gutters, walls, cladding, etc.
  • External infrastructure includes roads, Fire Exit staircase, plinth protection, kerbstone, Security cabins, Park entrance gates, Boom Barriers, office, electrical room, pump room, Labour toilets and dining areas, etc.
  • MIS reporting as per the schedule fix with the management.
*Share preventive maintenance of the logistics park and offices with estimates
  • Renewals of all approvals of the parks and up to date records for the same.
  • Visit local statutory bodies or government office for the renewals of the approvals.
  • Interaction with the Tenant warehouse manager and establish good relationship with them at ground level.
  • Day to day data entries in ERP implemented by organization for facility management and other related activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in a relevant technical field is required; Bachelor Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 15 years’ experience in building/facility management and maintenance, managing others, budgeting, and administration. Experience in Facility/Estate management of Logistics /Industrial Park will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Knowledge of MEP & Civil Work.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals from various backgrounds and skill sets (employees, volunteers, patrons, vendors, and peer institutions).
  • Ability to manage a large workforce and prioritize and implement projects within scope, on time, and within available budget.
  • Expert skills in team building and implementing morale building programs.
  • Expert skills in safety programs, problem solving and organizational skills to allocate resources to achieve departmental and facility goals.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors year round under a variety of conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, high humidity and wet weather.
  • Valid Driving Licence is must.
  • Ability to detect problems and direct treatments and procedures to improve processes.
