- Lead the Dryer operations at Eluru locations
- Responsible for CTP operations at Nandyal plant & Wheat packing operations at North India
- To manage the short- and medium-term Operational aspects.
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day Operational aspect of the FC Operations Process.
- Operate within the financial constraints of the budget.
- To promote a lean culture and Process throughout the Operation, Demonstrating continuous improvement of Quality, Safety, and Cost against a balanced set of metrics.
- To drive cost efficiency through continuous productivity improvement and better utilisation of resources.
- To Motivate and develop the site team including work force.
- To involve in planning and budgeting process and formulate broad operations strategy.
- To conduct regular meetings with plant staff to improve plant efficiency and control costs.
- To meet monthly CSP targets in time both for domestic and exports, by effectively planning production and organising bulk readiness with the help of QA.
- To implement site specific PPE rules and there by establish high safety standards in order to achieve goal zero in operations.
- To ensure optimum machine output by effectively planning in shop floor for different activity like processing and treating on daily basis.
- Management of FC Plant operations -- Set up and execute the annual operating plan for operation and processing. Set up performance standard and key metrics for these functions; effectively control operating budget to achieve financial targets.
- On time delivery of CSP every month and maintain minimum make to pack stock of fast moving products.
- Co-ordination with other functions: Organising resources from in-country support functions, and close co-ordination with Planning & supply team to deliver the product as per business requirements. Generate effective engagement plans with internal stakeholders to nurture cross-functional team-working.
- Process orientation: Drive a culture of continuous Improvement by identifying and implementing small projects at the FC Operations that embed structured ways of working. Co-ordinate other Syngenta/ Toller sites for information/best-practice sharing; Maintain a strong focus on building functional till excellence in technical areas of site operations for efficient running of the site.
- Statutory Compliances: Maintain regulatory compliances needed for FC operations, including productive relationship with government organisations. Be aware of upcoming regulations. .
- People development: Responsible for workforce planning involving hiring , training, performance evaluation and discipline of employees supervised; Identify & develop the right skills within the team and design career development plans for key talent. Maintain a productive, motivated and energised workforce.
- Authorised to identify and initiate corrective action of non-conformance in documentation, design, equipment, facilities, and processes including those activities covered by the Quality System; to continuously improve the productivities and quality.
- People development: Responsible for workforce planning involving hiring , training, performance evaluation and discipline of employees supervised; Identify & develop the right skills within the team and design career development plans for key talent. Maintain a productive, motivated and energised workforce.
- With a degree in Commerce Accounts/ Agriculture/ Manufacture/ Science from a reputed university
- Must have extensive practical knowledge about supply chain management and manufacturing excellence tools
- Knowledgeable on change management processes with preferably having delivered change involving new ways of working for an organisation
- Hands-on experience of continuous improvement techniques
- Implementation experience of Safety standards at a site.
- Extensive Seed processing/manufacturing knowledge including but not limited to inventory/work-in-process principles, labour efficiencies, production scheduling/planning.
- Financial knowledge including but not limited to budget planning, standard costing, variance analysis, fixed and variable costing.
- Solid experience to build strategic partnership with other units of organisation and /or external partners.
- A good team player and a good team co-ordinator

- Basic knowledge of product quality system, such as Foundation system and an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of productivity improvement, 5s,Kaizen, 6-sigma and Lean an added advantage
