- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective logistics services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize potential disruptions to the supply chain.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, systems, and tools to enhance logistics operations and customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in logistics operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management principles, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute operational plans that align with business objectives.
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology platforms used in logistics and supply chain management.
