- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of target markets across geographies to identify new business opportunities.
- Assess market size, construction trends, customer segments, regulatory landscape, opportunity mapping, and competitor positioning.
- Support regional/country teams in evaluating high potential areas, feasibility and go-to-market strategies for new market entries.
- Analyse sales performance and contribution by channel (distributors, dealers, direct sales, OEMs, etc.).
- Evaluate channel profitability, market coverage, customer acquisition costs, and partner efficiency.
- Recommend improvements in channel strategy, incentive programs, or partner selection criteria.
- Develop scorecards and dashboards to track channel KPIs and performance trends.
- Consolidate and analyse business metrics such as revenue, margin, project pipeline, and operational KPIs.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business review decks with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and business development teams to ensure reporting accuracy and relevance.
- Build business cases and financial models to support investments in new projects, geographies, or product lines.
- Perform risk-benefit analyses, ROI assessments, and scenario planning.
- Support leadership in strategic decision-making through ad hoc analysis and benchmarking studies.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes related to sales, operations, or project tracking.
- Support implementation of dashboards, CRM, or digital tools that enable better visibility and decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, market strategy, or commercial operations in the building and construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and financial modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
- Familiarity with the construction project lifecycle, commercial models, and multi-channel distribution strategies.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent research, synthesis, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, multicultural environments.
- Knowledge of sustainability trends, smart construction, and digital transformation in the built environment is a plus.
