Alfa Laval has been present in India since 1937. It is part of the Alfa Laval Group headquartered out of Lund, Sweden. The India Corporate Office is in Pune, Maharashtra. The factories located in Maharashtra manufactures and supplies key components and systems in Separation, Heat Transfer, and Flow technology. It is also a hub for Centrifugal Separators, Decanters, and Flow equipment delivered to the global markets from here. The company's products and solutions are omnipresent in over 25 multiple Indian industries including food processing, dairy, edible oil processing, sugar production, pharmaceutical & biotechnology, brewery, distillery, starch, pulp and paper, oil & gas, marine and energy. Alfa Laval caters to many national and international clients based across India and neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. We are now looking for a for a Leader to act as a business partner and business enabler, while implementing and managing an effective compliance program covering the defined risk areas. The Key Elements Of This Role Involve Policies and Procedures: Implement Global compliance policies and procedures, tailored to meet local laws and regulations. Risk Assessments: Conduct periodic and ongoing risk assessments to proactively identify potential areas of non-compliance and work with stakeholders to define and implement mitigation steps. Lead and support the independent investigation team with ongoing investigations, assist in implementing decisions of the local disciplinary committee, monitor and track implementation of remedial actions arising out of investigations. Investigating the various internal and external frauds taking place in the company and submitting reports to Management with recommendations and opinions. Handling typical malpractices like Fake invoicing/ kickbacks/ white collar crime/ conflict of interest etc. Monitoring and reporting: Conduct periodic compliance monitoring and checks for defined risk areas and activities, conduct site reviews, report outcomes to local/global management, define and implement remedial actions. Also create and manage effective action plans in response to audit observations and compliance violations. training and awareness programs to promote a culture of ethical decision making and compliance. Collection & analysis of information, research and information work to prevent possible abuses by internal & external customers and vendors. Participate in the development of requirements for antifraud system for specific fraud methods in conjunction with larger organizational goals. Intelligence gathering on prevailing and potential fraud methods in various business divisions. Periodical analysis of fraud level and risks, preparation of an analysis report along with recommendations on further course of action for management. To contribute effectively to our business, you will require these essential skills. Degree or certification in Law, finance, risk management, accounting, auditing, business management or related fields. Master's degree is preferred. At least 10-12 years of experience, high risk countries or risk, compliance, governance roles. Core experience in a compliance role will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of local and international laws relating compliance, more specifically to the assigned risk areas. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, influence and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to assume responsibility for multiple topics and resolve them effectively. Highly analytical, innovative approach using tech/data, with strong attention to detail.
