- Under broad direction of local sales team, utilizes subject matter expertise and established client relationships to sell M/D Totco legacy products and services and achieve maximum profitability and market penetration/share.
- Demonstrate a strong skill set in providing customer solution sales by uncovering customer pain points and providing a solution to manage or eliminate those pain points.
- Build and establish relationships with key decision-makers to develop strategies designed to help customers meet their high-level goals and solve customer challenges.
- Be a team player and always work toward the best possible result for NOV as a company.
- Service and grow existing customers of NOV.
- Expand NOV's customer base - responsible for bringing in new business for NOV - M/D Totco Division India.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Work with customer, sales, and engineering team to ensure equipment meets the system requirements.
- Recommend new and improved products to the customer and explain how the equipment will benefit the customer.
- Establish relationships with key accounts.
- Actively promote NOV M/D Totco legacy products/services
- Assist with the voice of the customer analysis.
- Assist in the alignment of products, services, and operations to deliver on customer challenges.
- Use CAD programs for generation system drawings to be submitted along with quotations.
- Market share analysis
- Ability to prepare cost estimates and technical specifications.
- Track, prepare and submit customer tender RFPs.
- Maintain CRM records and activities.
- Aggressively pursue new opportunities to secure sales/rental business within the region.
- Participate in technical and management trainings as required for professional development.
- Establish oneself as a focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies and contract negotiations.
- Develop reports and presentations.
- Regular submission of activity report according to directions given by the Manager
- Any other functions that the Management may feel necessary from time to time.
- 1-3 years of experience with a degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics) OR relevant combination of education and 3-5 years of sales work experience required.
- Sales of Drilling Instrumentation system a big plus.
- Experience in AutoCAD is highly preferred.
- Capable of understanding NOV M/D Totco's portfolio of products and services at a technical level in order to align them with sales strategy.
- Basic AutoCAD skills

- Retains sales forecast and Sales Strategy development to achieve plan. The candidate is expected to continuously drive the development of sales plans to support adding value and developing customer intimacy.
