Job Description:EHV Substation Engineer: Civil & Structural Engineer (B.E/B. Tech), with Substation design experienceDesired Experience:Candidate must have hands-on design experience working with 220kV and above AIS/GIS Substations design engineering. * Design of Transformer foundation- Isolated/Raft foundation ,Pile foundation (Excel and FEM, Staad)

Design of fire wall, Soak pit, Burnt oil pit
Design of Gantry tower
Design of RCC structure(MCR) and Steel structures
Review of Fabrication drawing
Design of base plate & bolts
Design of lightning mast
Design of Cable trench, road and storm water drainage.
Knowledge of electrical equipment’s loadings and plant layout.
Knowledge for review of Geotechnical investigation report.

Software -Staad Pro connect edition, excel and AutoCAD.Knowledge of IS Standards

IS 875 part 1 , 2 and 3 (DL,LL Wind load)
IS 1890 (seismic code)
IEC 60865/electrical requirement (SCF loading)/CEA guideline
IS 806 (For pipe section properties)
IS1161 (For Pipe sections design)
IS-800:2007 (Steel design)
IS 802(Part1/Sec2) - structural steel in overhead transmission line towers code of practice - part 1 Materials, loads and design strengths - section 2 Design strengths
IS 456 (RCC Design)
IRC SP 40, 52 (Drainage design)
