Shift Charge Engineer is the O&M team lead of a particular shift, and responsible for safe and efficient operation of FGD Plant with support from his team of Control Desk Engineers and field engineers & technicians. He is expected to operate the plant in close coordination with Customer's Shift Charge Engineer of the main power plant. He is responsible to attend any defects noticed during operation to ensure safety, reliability and availability of the plant.Required Key Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical processes & PFD of Coal Fired Boiler & or Wet FGD in Thermal Power Plant
- Control Philosophy & Control Logic of various processes
- Operation of the plant through DDCMIS / PLC
- Safe Start up and shut down of the plant
- Trouble shooting during operation
- Leadership Quality
- Verbal and written communication.
