Job Description: As a Web Operations Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory lifecycle of our online products and services. Your role will involve maintaining accurate records, optimizing stock levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management within an e-commerce or web-based environment. Responsibilities: Develop and implement inventory management procedures and best practices for web-based products and services. Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize shortages. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage inventory replenishment and stock forecasting. Conduct regular audits of inventory data to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies. Collaborate with the IT and development teams to optimize inventory systems and workflows. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan promotions or sales events. Analyze inventory reports and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Maintain clear documentation of inventory transactions, including adjustments, transfers, and returns. Implement measures to prevent stockouts, overstock situations, and product obsolescence. Troubleshoot and resolve any inventory-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Proven experience of 5-8 years in web operations, e-commerce, or inventory management. Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices. Proficiency in inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. Experience with data analysis and reporting to drive informed inventory decisions. Knowledge of web-based product lifecycle management is a plus.
