- Assist in the development of new skincare/cosmeceutical formulations
- Work on improving existing products for performance and stability
- Conduct trials, sample preparation, and batch formulations
- Research new ingredients, actives, and market trends in skincare and cosmeceutical
- Analyze competitor products and suggest improvements
- Stay updated with industry innovations and regulatory changes
- Perform stability testing, compatibility testing, and basic lab evaluations
- Maintain records of experiments, observations, and results
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for product validation
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and formulation records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and safety standards
- Work closely with production, quality, and marketing teams
- Support scale-up processes and product launches
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in skincare/cosmeceutical R&D
- Basic understanding of cosmetic formulations and ingredients
- Knowledge of lab practices and testing methods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience with emulsions, serums, gels, and active-based formulations
- Understanding of regulatory standards in cosmetics/cosmeceutical
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
