Purpose of the RoleThe portfolio related to forex involves booking of daily rates and cancelling hedges, analysing forex markets and exploring various hedging strategies, risk management, analysing MTM and hedging performance, developing relationship with banks and exploring new financial instruments, etc. Forex position is important from the point of view of managing forex risks and has financial implications hence needs specialized skill sets.The position also requires supporting on IR related activities including providing key insights to the top management (e.g. Investor relation MIS’s). If no one performs the work, management and investors would lose out on critical insights and in some cases, it would also lead to statutory non-compliances.Job Responsibility

Daily FX rate booking, utilization and cancellation of hedges. Taking hedges on commodities, doing research on various commodities
Exploring hedging strategies, taking hedges, understanding markets and accordingly optimize financial risk.
Providing market updates and hedging performance to management. Preparing RMC presentation.
Working with subsidiary entities for understanding Fx exposures and taking hedges on their behalf
Preparation of Board and Audit Committee papers
Assisting monthly / quarterly closing and handling audit and control processes related to FX and commodities.
Support in quarterly investor presentations, press release, analyse analyst estimates, analyst reports post results, verify IR call transcript, organize investor calls.
