Job RequirementsAs a FEA engineer (ANSYS Classic & HM), you will be responsible for execution of assigned tasks with required KPI standards and customer requirementResponsibilities:
  • Initiate and validate detailed analysis reports including structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly verify new and existing designs.
  • Do hand calculations leveraging a strong foundation in engineering fundamentals
  • Performing low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue and detailed fracture mechanics assessments of Aero engine static & rotating components.
  • Ability to interpret and validate the results and provide technical solutions.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.
  • Value addition initiatives for organization and customer by identifying, initiating and implementing the automation/productivity improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries for all projects.
  • Delivery Excellence by Effectively working with Customers & Internal team to drive the projects by managing the requirements and ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Responsible & accountable for executing projects with complete ownership.
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands on FEA experience with a Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical .
  • Tool knowledge on ANSYS classic, Hyper mesh and UG NX is must
  • Convergence Trouble shooting Expertise in FEA tools like Ansys and Hypermesh
  • In-depth knowledge in structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal analysis, heat transfer, stress, vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly verify new and existing designs.
  • Problem Identification and troubleshooting of medium-high complex engineering challenges.
  • Good to have exposure to customer specific tools like Siesta
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver design reviews, understanding of various stages of product development processes and ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Japanese Language N4/N5 Certification is added advantage
  • Understanding any programming language like VBA, Python is advantageous
