This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 4-8 LPA)Min Experience: 3 yearsLocation: IndoreJobType: full-timeWe are seeking a QA Lead who has 3–5 years of experience along with demonstrated skills in team leadership to oversee the quality assurance activities for our software products. This position encompasses manual and automated testing, team management, performance validation, and enhancement of QA processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality and dependable products.RequirementsKey Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & QA Ownership

Guide and support the QA team, ensuring efficient and timely quality execution.
Establish QA strategies, standards, and release criteria.
Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure testing aligns with business objectives.

2. Test Planning & Execution

Create and evaluate test plans, test cases, and test scripts covering functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
Guarantee thorough test coverage and supervise both manual and automated testing procedures.

3. Automation, Code Quality & Process Improvement

Build and upkeep automation frameworks and scripts.
Assess automation scripts and test code to maintain code quality, readability, reusability, and adherence to best practices.
Cooperate with developers to evaluate code changes from the standpoint of testability and quality.
Promote continuous QA process improvements and foster a quality-first culture.

4. Defect Management & Reporting

Record, monitor, and prioritize defects using tools such as JIRA.
Conduct root cause analyses and ensure timely defect resolution.
Provide test reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.

5. Performance & Reliability Testing

Execute performance, load, regression, and stability testing.
Verify that software maintains reliable performance under real-world conditions.

6. Documentation & Compliance

Keep comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and defects.
Ensure compliance with SDLC, STLC, and QA standards.

RequirementsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
Previous roles as a QA Lead or Senior QA involving team leadership are required.
Experience with AI, machine vision, or data-centric systems is advantageous.

Technical Skills

Expertise in manual testing and designing test cases.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
Practical experience with automation tools, including:

Selenium, Appium, JMeter
Proficient in:

Python / JavaScript (knowledge of C++ is a plus)
Familiar with:

JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms
Solid knowledge of:

Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and Performance Testing
Experience reviewing test code, coding standards, and maintaining clear, maintainable automation scripts.
Competency in performance testing using JMeter (LoadRunner experience is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML, image processing, or machine vision technologies.
