- Partner with Innovation / Marketing and commercial teams and cross functional stakeholders to deliver NSV / GP ambition.
- Act as a Commercial as well as Category Finance business partner in developing strategic business priorities/ goals setting.
- Collaborate and create constructive interaction between Marketing, Commercial and Finance team(s)
- Support the portfolio heads on key decisions and matters impacting the financial performance of the function.
- Partner with Innovation Marketing vertical on defining pipeline for next 5-8 year. E2E evaluation of innovation financial proposals (new Brand / segment introductions).
- Lead and collaborate on AOP/ IOP agenda for Commercial and Marketing functions.
- Partner with Commercial head to run the monthly business performance management.
- Management of overall Trade spends, and A&P spends. Planning and Appraisal of spends aligned to national Brand - State priorities.
- Function as the budget custodian/steward in managing expenditure (direct, indirect, procurement, admin etc.) and providing cost control in line with annual plans.
- Improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of Trade investments and A&P
- Recommend transformation opportunities for creating world-class function.
- Advise and support leadership in defining standards and policies.
- Keep abreast with the leading practices on financial processes and drive implementation of efficient and consistent systems.
- Act as a trusted business advisor providing data-driven insights and challenge decision making from a finance perspective.
- Responsible for designing cost controls, institutionalizing greater discretion, and improving return on investments.
- Drive the creation and implementation of effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks across USL to drive holistic performance and maintain reputation.
- Champion the embedding of a compliance culture within USL.
- Leading a team of Finance professionals, responsibility for their capability thru the 70:20:10 learning model and maintain healthy engagement / NPS scores.
- Facilitate career movements/rotations to provide critical experiences
- CA/ MBA in Finance
- 7-10 years post qualification experience
