Lead validation efforts for embedded firmware in smart devices, driving quality across development and release stages.
Design and implement test automation using Robot Framework and Python, ensuring maximum test coverage.
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deploy workflows using Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
Perform hands-on validation of embedded interfaces like UART, SPI, Ethernet.
Validate communication layers using protocols such as MQTT and Kafka within IoT environments.
Deploy and manage test execution infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and test farms.
Lead root cause analysis for complex firmware issues and provide detailed defect reports and technical insights.
Mentor junior team members, review test strategies, and ensure process adherence and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, DevOps, and product engineering.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years in embedded/IoT firmware validation, preferably in the smart devices domain.
Expertise in test automation with Robot Framework and Python.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance for firmware build, test, and deploy processes.
Deep understanding of embedded communication interfaces: UART, SPI, Ethernet.
Strong experience validating messaging protocols: MQTT, Kafka.
Proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with test farm environments and distributed testing strategies.

Knowledge of firmware OTA (Over-The-Air) update testing and device lifecycle validation.

Familiarity with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing setups.
Exposure to DevOps practices in embedded firmware development.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for system-level and integration issues.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation abilities.
