- Ensure the execution of maintenance activities on site in accordance with the contractual KPIs
- System expert level support to NMRC staff for routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- To conduct supervision of maintenance as per system checklist and troubleshoot during failure.
- Coordinate with Telecom design team and product experts overseas to resolve critical issues and root cause analysis (RCA).
- To conduct analysis of failures, prepare reports, routine business communications.
- Download regular logs of switches and NMS, analyse and investigate error & warnings to fix the issues.
- Verify network configuration, upload routine patches/updates and ensure smooth functioning of Fiber Optic Transmission Systems (FOTS).
- Verify IP addresses with records and check FOTS alarms of warning according to periodic schedule.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Follow safety precautions, work permit guidelines of Metro rail while working.
- Ensure safety checks after completing the maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Perform shift and emergency duties when required
- This role requires 24x7 support to customers on a shift basis (telephonic support other than normal working hours) and hence night hours working sometimes.
- Ensure monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance and provide technical reporting to the Client.
- Ensure the availability of adequate stock and repair process activation
- Post qualification experience of at least 05 Years for Degree holder or 07 years Diploma holder in FOTS in Metro / Railways Signalling.
- Excellent understanding of Fiber networks system used in Metro rail
- Working experience on FOTS equipment such as switches, routers etc.
- Working knowledge of power supply equipment and connectors used in fibre optic networks.
- Working experience of large-scale communication networks and NMS system.

- Able to work under pressure and efficient trouble shooting skills
- Degree OR Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
