Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring that products are handled with care to prevent damage.
Follow predetermined routes and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
Verify delivery instructions and addresses before departing for deliveries.
Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns.
Collect payments from customers when required and provide receipts as needed.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, items delivered, and any issues encountered.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the delivery vehicle.
Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
Provide feedback to management on ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with the local area.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
