The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient build, test and deployment processes.
  • Configure and maintain containerised applications and support orchestration for high availability and scalability.
  • Automate repetitive tasks with scripting for legacy platforms.
  • Optimise resource utilisation and reduce costs while maintaining high performance and, up time.
  • Establish best practices for managing vulnerability scanning, compliance checks and secure configurations.
  • Implement Citi standard tools for Observability and monitoring applications.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational change management process, incident handling and SLA commitments.
  • Participate in release planning, production rollouts and weekend support rotation.
  • Contribute to DevOps process improvement by evaluating new tools, practices and automation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL standards by managing Change, Incidents and Problem workflow via Citi Standard tool, with a focus on SLA adherence.
  • Work closely with development & QA teams to ensure smooth integration & alignment across the development lifecycle.
Qualifications :
  • 8-12 years relevant experience as DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, uDeploy, Tekton, Harness or similar.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift and Helm.
  • Experience with monitoring tool such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack or similar
  • Experience with Databases like MongoDB, Oracle or similar.
  • Experience with Linux and Bach Scripting.
  • Experience in managing hybrid & cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and tools like Service now.
  • It is a plus to have knowledge of middle ware platform like WebLogic and WebSphere
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
Education:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent work experience.
