The Stantec community unites approximately 32,000 employees working in over 450 locations across 6 continents.Key Accountabilities:Review the input received from Engineer and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly without changing design intent.Provide technical expertise in the area of all HVAC systems as a part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering conceptual design, outline design, detailed design and construction support for projects across Stantec.Liaise closely with regional stakeholders (regional project leadership), and in some instances external clients; and local RNet (Pune) team members.Produce the technical expertise for mechanical deliverables (calculations, drawings, specifications) for other business lines (Water, Oil & Gas, Mining, etc.) as required, apart from Buildings, in accordance with applicable standards and codes for the project.Ensure quality and schedule for teams work.Coordination with other Disciplines Designers and Engineers as applicable.Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns to Discipline Lead/Project Manager/Project Lead.Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.Attend project meetings and calls as required.Train new and less experienced mechanical engineers and designers.Undertake other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by management.Person Specifications:Bachelors Degree or Masters (M.E./M. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed instituteShould have minimum experience of 1+ years.Ability to perform and review design calculations for HVAC systems.Ability to produce and review design calculations, specifications of HVAC related to Building Mechanical projects.Knowledge of other disciplines like Civil, Structural and Electrical.Good organizational skills with ability to independently manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe person must necessarily have the following skills: - Communication skills - good command of written and spoken English (the position will require a high level of interaction Stantec engineers, technical staff, project leadership (Project Managers, Project Technical Leaders) in other global offices, and on occasion end client representatives.Organised work habitsPrimary Location: India | Pune
