Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesThe Principal RIS BU provides support in setting up Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and delivering end-to-end administration for clients.
The Automation Analyst plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve efficiency across core ESOP processes. The role requires expertise in VBA, Excel automation, SQL, and Power BI, along with strong documentation and release management capability.Key Responsibilities: * Automation Development
  • Build and maintain VBA‑based automation tools, including Window Open/Close utilities.
  • Develop advanced Excel automation solutions (macros, data processors, calculators, dashboards).
  • Create and maintain SQL‑based automations for data validation and extraction.
  • Use Power BI to visualize workflow performance, volumes, exceptions, and operational insights.
  • Version Control & Release Management
  • Maintain proper versioning, code repositories, and release notes.
  • Lead structured release cycles, including QA review, testing, and production rollout.
  • Ensure compliance with internal change‑control and documentation standards.
  • Documentation & Testing
  • Document code logic, data flows, technical processes, and user procedures.
  • Ensure automation stability during key ESOP cycles.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration
  • Partner with ESOP Operations, QA, Reporting, and IT teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Translate ESOP business rules (vesting, eligibility, participant transactions) into automation logic.
Qualifications:Qualifications
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Accounting, Commerce, BCA, MCA, or similar.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in automation or technical operations.
Additional Information:Skill Set
  • Advanced VBA (user forms, modules, error handling).
  • Expert‑level Excel skills.
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
  • Strong debugging, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Understanding of version control/change management processes.
  • Knowledge of US retirement benefits (preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in shifting priorities.
  • Flexibility to work in US Shift (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST).
