This also includes understanding the client's complex process facilities, with Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) regulated requirements for a pharmaceutical production facility.The Department consists of dedicated engineers, specialized in different phases of the project including Conceptual Design, Basic Design, Detailed Design, Programming, Commissioning and Qualification. You will work in a project-oriented, international climate supporting our customers and colleagues across the globe. Our projects cover the full range from small revamp projects to high-volume greenfield production facilities. As a Lead Process Automation Engineer, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll be:Leading a group of colleagues preparing engineering/technical project task
  • Lead and Manage team of Automation Engineers in all project sizes and phases.
  • Structure, plan and take financial responsibility of your own discipline.
  • Ensure co-ordination with other disciplines and project stake holders.
  • Understand the project scope, define and distribute the tasks within the team and get the tasks done as per project schedule with excellent quality.
  • Review work of own team for quality, consistency, and adherence to project specific / general standards / guidelines.
  • Responsible for quality deliverables as per project schedule
  • Contribute to develop standards and guidelines as and when required.
  • Encourage team for maximum efficiency. Mentor the team members.
  • Look for sales opportunity while working with clients.
Providing SME level support to complex process challenges and Process Automation design within the GMP segment
  • Good working knowledge of 800xA system (Hardware/Software), other system libraries.
  • Knowledge on PCDL, PCEL libraries will be added advantage.
  • Good understanding of ISA S88 Batch concepts.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliances and application experience of same in projects, will be preferred.
  • Should have developed Process Automation Conceptual System Architecture.
  • Should have developed PCS user requirement and system hardware specifications.
  • Should have developed functional specifications (Control Module, EM and Phase class) for recipes.
  • Good working knowledge of Control Builders and SFCs.
  • Developed Integration Specs, Installation packages, Test and Qualification protocols includ-ing test plans.
  • Developed construction drawings and programmed per good programming practices.
  • Executed Module integration Tests, FAT, SAT, IQ and OQ.
  • Good pharma process knowledge
  • Experience of handling clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of leading project teams
  • Proven record of successfully delivering projects
Supporting the development of our Process Automation Engineering System through standardization.
  • Developing and designing engineered solutions to complex problems through individual contribution and/or by leading teams of engineers.

The miles you've walked.To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
  • You have at least twelve years of experience working as a Lead/Senior in Process automation discipline.
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of Batch Management experience.
  • You have GMP experience from the process, pharmaceutical, or life science industry.
  • You have a degree in Electronics/ Electrical/Industrial Automation or similar technical field.
