Job Description:Job Title: Tableau QA Engineer (Automation)Experience: 4–10 YearsLocation: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Pune/ Chennai/ Trivandrum/ Cochin/ GurugramJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Tableau QA Engineer with Automation experience to ensure the quality, accuracy, and performance of Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.This role focuses on data validation, dashboard testing, and test automation to support enterprise analytics programs. The candidate will work closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTableau QA & Data Validation

Perform end‑to‑end testing of Tableau dashboards, reports, and data extracts
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency between source systems, data warehouses, and Tableau outputs
Test calculations, filters, parameters, aggregations, and drill‑downs for functional correctness
Identify data discrepancies, analyze root causes, and log clear defects with supporting evidence

Test Automation

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Tableau dashboards and data validation scenarios
Automate regression testing, data reconciliation, and dashboard validation checks
Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation (where applicable)
Maintain reusable automation frameworks, libraries, and utilities

Functional & Regression Testing

Execute functional, regression, and smoke testing for Tableau releases
Validate dashboard performance, load behavior, and data refresh schedules
Support UAT cycles by coordinating closely with business users and development teams

Collaboration & Reporting

Collaborate in Agile teams with BI Developers, Data Engineers, QA, and Product stakeholders
Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and defect triage meetings
Provide regular test status updates, defect metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–10 years of QA experience with a strong focus on Tableau testing and data validation
Hands‑on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and published dashboards
Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and reconciliation
Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, custom frameworks, or equivalent)
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI reporting
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models

Preferred Qualifications

Experience automating Tableau or BI validation using Python or Java‑based frameworks
Exposure to cloud data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
Experience working in enterprise or regulated domains (Healthcare, Insurance, BFSI)
