This is your chance to bring your love of desserts, operations and logistics to the plate. Responsibilities and Duties: Operations: You will be responsible for the bakery operations and maintenance. Opening new hubs and prime revenue generating areas. Logistics Management which includes mapping, dispatch and delivery management. Overseeing logistics and giving ideas for growth and improvement. Vehicle maintenance: You will be responsible for the company-owned vehicles servicing and maintenance. You will keep track and manage weekly petrol expenses. Inventory management: You need to keep track of the inventory and stock levels of bakery products, and ensure that the bakery always has enough products on hand to meet customer demand. Order stock levels to be reported and supplied on regular basis for purchasing. Purchasing and cost control: Responsibilities include purchasing raw materials, supplies, and equipment as needed. This may involve researching vendors, negotiating prices and terms, and placing orders putting cost controls in place. Forecasting: The inventory purchasing officer is responsible for forecasting inventory needs based on production schedules. This is essential for ensuring that the bakery always has enough stock on hand to meet demand. Forecasting is also required for logistics. Housekeeping management: This role is responsible for ensuring that the bakery premises are kept clean and hygienic at all times and maintain the housekeeping roster and check-lists.. Security management: You will be responsible for the security of the complete bakery while managing and keeping a check on the opening and closing checklist. Understanding of Regulations and Laws and Ensure Compliance Event Management Responsibilities and Duties: 5+ years in Operations and Logistics 2+ years of people management experience. Experience leading process improvements Bachelors Degree Has a background in quantitative decision making, ability to drive business/operations metrics, and driving adoption of different tools and resources.
