- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SharePoint Online and on-premises solutions
- Architect enterprise-wide collaboration portals, content management systems, and workflow automation tools
- Design hybrid SharePoint environments, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft 365
- Provide technical guidance on SharePoint best practices, governance, and security frameworks
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and coding best practices
- Manage the SharePoint product life cycle including project design, issue resolution, and deployment
- Lead analysis/requirements gathering, design, configuration, implementation/testing, and support of SharePoint solutions
- Develop custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), web parts, and extensions
- Create and maintain SharePoint site collections, libraries, lists, and content types
- Implement workflow solutions using Power Automate and SharePoint Designer
- Develop custom applications using SharePoint APIs, REST services, and Microsoft Graph
- Prioritize, assign and monitor application design and development tasks across multiple concurrent projects
- Mentor and guide junior developers and SharePoint administrators
- Promote SDLC conformance, industry design standards and development principles
- Lead migration projects from legacy SharePoint versions to SharePoint Online/Microsoft 365
- Modernize existing SharePoint solutions and migrate to modern SharePoint experiences
- Plan and execute content migration strategies with minimal business disruption
- Assess and recommend modernization approaches for classic SharePoint sites and workflows
- Establish and maintain SharePoint governance policies and procedures
- Implement security controls, permissions management, and compliance frameworks
- Monitor SharePoint performance, usage analytics, and system health
- Ensure adherence to organizational data management and retention policies
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10-12+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration
- Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019/2016/2013, and hybrid environments
- Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), web parts, and modern SharePoint development
- Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Platform integration
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, and information architecture
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development frameworks
- Experience with SPFx development
- Knowledge of .NET Framework, C#, and server-side SharePoint development
- Familiarity with PowerShell for SharePoint administration and automation
- Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and SharePoint Online APIs
- Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and SharePoint development tools
- Knowledge of source control systems (Git, TFS, Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
