- To check the compliance for EHS requirements at Factory, auditing / inspecting the work area and guiding the Managers / Employees to follow safe methods of work practice to eliminate unsafe condition, unsafe acts, and protect environment / minimizes pollution.
- Conducting & Preparations of Onsite Emergency Plans, MMR, EHS MIS etc. as per Corp EHS Directives
- To support line management for implementing requirement ISO 14001 & OHSAS 1800
- Create Environment, Occupational Health & Safety awareness amongst all employee of the organization and support the Line Managers to implement Environment Occupational Health & Safety policy in all operations without any compromise.
- Ensure suitable actions to close the non-compliances with active help of Plant team.
- Effectiveness of inspection / audit reports submitted.
- Compliance to legal requirements related with Environmental, Health & Safety - (Online / Form Submission).
- Liaison with external parties (Legal authority, GPCB, Corporate EHS,) related with Environmental, Health & Safety
- Implementation of Hazardous waste management system, control, identification, monitoring & disposal.
- EHS Risk Assessment of all Processes.
- Ensure timely investigation & documentation of Environmental / Safety accidents & incidents.
- Implementation of Emergency Evacuation Plan & Coordinating & conducting Mock-drills
- Carry out Safety committee meeting & safety steering meeting at appropriate time intervals & ensure implementation of actions identified
- Reduce the risks through implementation of safety actions & coordination of activities independently
- Ensuring availability & Maintenance of Fire-Fighting Equipment's
- EHS Visualization thought the Plant.
- Monitoring of IGBC requirements & Dash-boards.
- Compliance of all EHS Legal Requirements
- Qualified as per factory act and rule of particular state. ( i e. Karnataka)
- Good Knowledge of EHS Compliance and rules.
- Risk Assessment techniques
- Sound Knowledge of EHS law and other statutory requirements
- Computer Skills and Package like MS Office
- Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety in manufacturing organizations
- Passion about safety is important feature.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Able to understand & speak English
