- Lead and manage all production operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing operations and improve efficiency
- Ensure that the manufacturing processes comply with both local and global production standards
- Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall performance
- Manage the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, Infrastructure and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to improve cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and internal departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a master's degree
- Strong understanding and certification of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in a similar role within the flexible packaging manufacturing industry.
- Hands on Experience in reducing wastage, quality control, operational expense reduction, machine maintenance and process improvements
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing production and operations teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
