- Gathering source files for translation
- Ensure proper file preparation, delivery, and integration with technology platforms.
- Develop detailed project plans
- Coordinate project activities across internal teams, external vendors, and language service providers.
- Ensure adherence to established translation / localization workflows and standards.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across projects.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of translation/localization processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
- Facilitate clear communication regarding project status, requirements, and issues.
- Monitor and report on project health and progress to the Translation SME and/or product owners, escalating issues as needed.
- 5 years of experiencerequired to perform essential job functions.
- Additional Experience Qualifier (optional):5+ years of experience in translation and localization project management with successful track leading monolingual or multilingual translation and localization projects. Previous experience in working on the client side and with product teams is a plus.
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with additional languages being a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with localization tools and technologies.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding cultural nuances and market-specific preferences.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in managing files, schedules, and quality control across multiple languages and formats.
- Process Orientation & Compliance: Understanding of standard translation/localization workflows and ability to ensure adherence to established procedures.
- Adaptability & Multitasking: Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
