- Own and resolve complex, high‑impact Dynamics 365 incidents across core CRM entities including Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Agreements, CIF, and custom entities.
- Act as the final technical escalation point for support issues prior to engineering involvement.
- Perform deep root‑cause analysis (RCA) across:
- Data integrity issues
- Business rule and validation failures
- Security role and access issues
- Integration and synchronization failures
- Ensure issues are not just resolved, but systemically addressed through design or configuration improvements.
- Contribute to and influence Dynamics 365 solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Design and review:
- Entity and Dataverse data models
- Security role hierarchies and access models
- Business process flows and automation patterns
- Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust D365 technical designs.
- Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards and governance.
- Perform hands‑on development and customization within the D365 ecosystem, including:
- Custom plugins and extensions using .NET / C#
- Workflows, business rules, and Power Automate flows
- Form, view, and UI customizations
- Debug and support existing custom code and configurations in production and non‑production environments.
- Contribute to preventive engineering by improving validation logic, error handling, and automation.
- Support and enhance integrations between D365 and enterprise systems using:
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions
- Troubleshoot integration failures, data latency issues, and interface errors.
- Collaborate with integration and platform teams on long‑term reliability and performance improvements.
- Execute controlled data fixes and clean‑up activities in alignment with data governance standards.
- Handle complex scenarios involving:
- Invalid or incomplete records
- Orphaned or inconsistent CRM data
- Proactively identify data and design patterns that lead to production issues and propose corrective actions.
- Actively support D365 Hypercare and transformation program releases, including critical business windows (month‑end, quarter‑end).
- Participate in release validation, regression testing, and post‑deployment stabilization.
- Improve support processes, runbooks, and operational documentation to raise platform maturity.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team technical capability.
- 8–12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands‑on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE / CRM) experience.
- Proven background in L2/L3 enterprise application support with ownership of production systems.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture and Dataverse fundamentals
- Expertise in:
- Entity modeling and relationships
- Security roles, business units, and access control
- Business process flows and automation
- Experience designing scalable and supportable D365 solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Custom plugin development (C#, .NET)
- Power Automate and Power Platform integrations
- Azure integration patterns (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions)
- Ability to debug complex technical issues across application, data, and integration layers.
- Understanding of ALM / CI‑CD practices for Dynamics 365
- Experience supporting deployments, hotfixes, and environment promotions.
- Strong RCA, documentation, and operational discipline.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in high‑pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical issues for business stakeholders.
- Architectural and preventive mindset — focused on long‑term platform health, not just ticket closure.
- Comfortable mentoring others and influencing technical direction.
- Senior D365 engineers or technical leads
- Support engineers with strong development and architecture depth
