Job Position – AREA SALES MANGER ( ASMs).
Job Description:
 Ensuring achievement of annual sales and other qualitative targets.
 Lead the cluster of allocated territories in terms of sales, channel management, new product
launches, team management, training, etc.
 Implement sales strategy in line with organizational strategy after discussing with the management.
 Ensuring achievement of annual sales and other qualitative targets.
 Provide meticulous sales projections to the reporting head.
 Ensure market share maintenance and expansion, by leading trade marketing and sales initiatives.
 Frequent travel and market audits to check for maximum retail presence.
 The thick line of communication with management, sales team, and distributors for maximum
control and grip.
 Stay abreast of competition activities, industry practices and opportunities in the related business
(Major auto market, OEMs, upcoming distributor, new co entering into market etc)
 To identify new segments and markets in the provided territory.
 Develop new customers and distributors in assigned territory.
 Keeping abreast with what is happening within the competitive landscape of the industry and the
territories.
 Keeping a sharp eye on market pricing.
 Weekly sales tracking, analysis, and frequent management presentations.
 Give timely feedbackDesired profile:
 At least 3-5 years of experience as an ASM in Lube / similar industries
 Experience in Channel/ Dealer partner and distribution sales
 Graduate / Preferably have MBA Degree in Sales & Marketing
 Able to work under stringent target both in terms of time and volume
 Good interpersonal skills & Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
 Team Handling Experience
 Knowledge of the market/clients of designated area
 Good oral and written communication skills
 Demonstrated team spirit, accurate reporting, and integrity.
