You light the way.More about the roleThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Lab Manager in SIL - Bangalore with Signify.1.Communication and team management: Good Communication skills, expertise in MS office and presentation skills, training and managing laboratory technicians and researchers, providing guidance and support.2.Managing Equipment & Supplies: Ensuring proper maintenance, calibration, and inventory of hardware lab equipment and supplies, arranging for repairs and replacements when needed.3.Overseeing Lab Activities: Coordinating research activities, experiments, and projects, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.4.Maintaining a Safe Environment: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.5.Technical Expertise & Support:

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues with lab equipment and systems. Equipment Repairing and Troubleshooting Schematic Validation and Analysis.
Documentation: Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of lab processes, procedures, and experimental data.
Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments and teams to integrate lab activities with organizational objectives.

6. Compliance & Quality:

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards. Managing Internal and external audits, Lab and electrical safety Training, ESD, ESH practices, Safety, required certifications, CE, UL lighting standards, EMI and EMC.
Quality Control: Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of test results.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for improvement in laboratory processes and procedures.

7. Hardware Integration: Managing the physical installation, cabling, and maintenance of hardware components. Good Knowledge on Soldering assembly in SMD Components/BGA re-balling, Earthing and Earth pit, 3-Phase electrical wiring house and industry, on LT panels, Metering, power factor, AC units, Lighting Controls, Capacitive Loads, Inductive Loads, MCBs, RCCBs, different kinds of Fuses, Surge protecters and other protective devices, RF networks, Wi-Fi Routers.8. Vendor and Component Management: End to end Vendor Management, Inventory procurement, Lab Supply management. Receiving, managing, and distributing hardware components and materials.9.Lab-Ready Status: Ensuring that new products entering the lab are ready for research and development activities. Preparation of Bill of Material, test setups, Test racks and Jigs. Hands on experience on Outdoor and indoor wiring installation, Solar installation, Battery management. Hybrid charger and MPPT controller.10.Space Management and scrap management.Come join us, and together we can light the way.
